Get plenty of rest so your body can better ward off acne and pimples. As acne is caused by bacteria in the pores of the skin, it is an infection that your body is fighting. Your body will use up energy and resources to work on healing the acne. Getting a good night's sleep of 7-8 hours will benefit you greatly. By getting enough sleep, you will also help to ward off stress which is not good for acne. Too much stress can increase hormone release that can aggravate acne and lead to more skin rashes or pimples.

Another way to help reduce stress is to get enough exercise. A nice walk, bike ride or swimming will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. Swimming is one of the best exercises you can do as in addition to the exercise benefit, the chlorine in the pool will help reduce your acne. By getting exercise, practicing yoga, listening to music, or whatever you choose, your body will reduce stress and your skin will thank you.

Mother nature can be kind to your skin, but it can also be harsh.
